Ingredients:
For Date & Tamarind Chutney (Sweet Chutney):
250 gms Dates (Khajur)
100 gms Tamarind (Imli)
1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
1/2 tsp Coriander Seed Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
Water
For Green Chutney (Medium Spicy Chutney):
1 Cup Coriander Leaves
1/2 Cup Mint Leaves
2 tbsp Chana
2-3 Green Chillies
1/2 Lemon Juice
4-5 Garlic
1/2 inch Ginger
Salt to taste
Water
For Red Chilli Garlic Chutney (Spicy):
15-20 Dry Red Chillies
10-12 Garlic
1/2 inch Ginger
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder
1/2 Lemon juice
Salt to taste
Water
Method:
To Make Date & Tamarind Chutney
- Firstly soak the dates & tamarind in water for 1 hour.
- In a mixer grinder add dates, tamarind, cumin seeds powder, coriander seeds powder, red chilli powder & salt. Grind everything to a smooth paste.
- Pass the mixture through a strainer by adding little water.
- Date & Tamarind Chutney is ready.
To Make Green Chutney
- In a mixer grinder add coriander leaves, mint leaves, chana, green chillies, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, salt & water.
- Grind everything to a smooth paste.
- Green Chutney is ready.
To Make Red Chilli Garlic Chutney
- Soak the dry red chillies in water for some time.
- In a mixer grinder add soaked dry red chillies, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds powder, lemon juice 7 salt.
- Grind everything to a smooth paste.
- Red Chilli Garlic Chutney is ready.
